Yep. Definitely crazy. "Kairi, you're not making any sense!" growled Katara, ducking down to look at her. "What's wrong with you? Stop that and actually explain what the hell you're on about!"

"Don't you tell me what to do. I'm the boss of me, not you and what do you know about anything." she stopped suddenly. She felt their presence again. "Riku?Xemnas?" She stood up promptly. It was them. It had to be. It was. "RIKU, XEMNAS!" she shouted. They looked up at her. It really was them. She had found them. "Hurry up and land damn it," she told the crew desperately.

Katara grabbed hold of Kairi, shaking her slightly. "Stop it! What is going on? Explain!"

Kairi shoved Katara's arms out of the way. She was finally going to see Riku and Xemnas. "They fought for me with every last ounce of strength they had left. They knocked me unconcious and threw me over the railings of the dock back home. They took Riku and Xemnas away when I woke up."

Riku and Xemnas... Something of Kairi's maddening babble was beginning to slot into places inside Katara's head. Her brow furrowed, she stepped back slightly, letting Kairi scrabble to her feet. Riku and Xemnas... Riku and Xemnas... Over the railings... Saved her... Saved Kairi... From what? And if they were now gone... "Are they dead?" Katara said hollowly.

"What who said that? who told you that, they can't be dead I won't let them kill them. I promised them I would find and save them." she said. Was Katara not telling her something? Was she olding something back. Kairi grabbed her by the arms and started shaking her. "What do you know? WHAT AREN'T YOU TELLING ME?"

Katara shook her off angrily. "From the way you're talking, you'd think that your friends were dead!" She was bored of this now. If Kairi wasn't going to talk straight, Katara might as well not bother.

"I'm sorry, I'm just desperate to find them. They're my best friends you know. My only friends. Well I think I would've liked Riku to be more than just my best friend." Kairi lent over the side of the ship again looking out over the waters. "If they hurt them in any and I mean any way I will kill them! I don't know what they're called but they were all wearing black robes,"

Katara relaxed slightly, rubbing her throbbing temple. Kairi was already shaping up to be the sort of person whom was obviously very prone to letting her emotions out. Katara was exactly the opposite. She bottled things up to stay strong, and be... be... Now that her family was gone, what was even the point? "Okay, okay," she breathed. "Bad black robed guys and two missing friends. Any ideas?"

"Yes. Find em, catch em, torture em till they tell me were my friends wer and then kill em!" she liked it anyway. It was short and simple.

Katara raised an eyebrow. "Any better ideas?" No offence to Kairi, but no matter how much you wanted to do something, you couldn't unless you had a proper idea all planned out. Every little bug, every little kink- it all had to be smoothed over. It had to be perfect. And that plan was nowhere near good enough. It wasn't based on logic and reason. It was based on what Kairi wanted, and wanting something didn't make it happen.

"I thought that was a good one if you asked me, which you didn't. Why do you have any better ideas?" she asked slightly taken aback. That was kind of rude of her she thought to herself. Oh where are you guys? she asked herself. She looked down at her feet and sighed. Maybe she was being to rash.

"Okay," sighed Katara. "Your... plan of action isn't so much... bad. But it needs work. Let's concentrate on the first part. Find em- how exactly do you propose to find them?" Hang on... did this count as getting involved?

"Well you see that's the thing, I don't find them, they find me. That's why I'm so wigged about landing in Kyoshi. If I step foot on land then they come for me." she said. Well there's the first part of it sorted out. Kairi had thought about this. She had the plan sorted out. She just needed to see if someone would got they same way about it as she had and Katara seemed like the right person. Kairi had the idea of them finding what they had come to find together or help each other if Katara wanted too. She wasn't going to let on yet though.

Finally! Some form of sense! Kairi could've saved herself ten minutes of wailing by just explaining things properly to Katara in the first place. Well, she supposed the answer was simple enough. "Prepare yourself for them, then go on land," she said, her idea still half-formed inside her own mind. "Be ready to fight, and wait for them to come and challenge you."
